Meagan & Luke said “I do” with their closest friends and family at Long Straw Farms on June 27th, 2020. Their wedding day was full of love and happiness, and everything was so relaxed the day of.
When Luke & Meagan began planning their wedding, they had no idea that they would be faced with getting married during a pandemic, nor did they know the challenges it would bring to the table for their day. But, despite these difficult circumstances, the couple wed in the presence of many close friends and family. Their day was full of love and happiness—a breath of fresh air after months of stressful planning, and anxiously awaiting the news that they could proceed with their celebration. It was a nice reminder to me that, regardless of our circumstances, love really can go the distance.
As I edited their gallery, I was reminded of how simple and beautiful everything was. Meagan and Luke made such a stunning couple. Their ceremony was sincere and heartfelt, beginning with the pastor telling the story of how they met and came to fall in love. On of my favorite touches, however, were the flower girls. Meagan made the choice to elect her two grandmothers to be her flower girls, and I was in awe of how adorable they were.
After a sweet ceremony, Meagan & Luke, followed by a select few of friends and family, headed to Meagan’s family home for the reception. Meagan told her DJ she wanted their reception to be “one epic party,” and it was just that! All of the guests had so much fun dancing to 80s hits, and eating delicious desserts, followed by a sparkler send-off.
